[Elizabeth looks completely floored when Gai says that--almost as though his hair has suddenly turned blue. Then her face lights up and she laughs.]

How do you know that?

[voidseeing]

It's an old song from my world... and I'm guessing it's from yours too, if you recognized it.

[He was a bit concerned by her initial expression, but now that she seems pleased, he's happy too.]

It's barely two years old. [She rests her hand over the one Gai's put into her hair, marveling at how some things are stretching between them, even across over a hundred years.]

But no, it's going to be just as good. Maybe even better!

[voidseeing]

And definitely louder.

[Because he is going to take that as a challenge. Besides, this position gives him easy access to certain spots with his hand...

To prove his point, he rocks up against her again with a little more pressure this time, a nice, firm roll to rub himself fully against her.]

Definitely-- [Elizabeth gasps mid-roll, words failing her. But she does take this as a sign that Gai is ready and she should get down to it.]

I'm not going to make it easy for you, though. You're going to have to work to hear my voice. [She straightens up and starts positioning herself--though she has to admit that she isn't 100% certain as to how this is supposed to happen... It had been easy before, Gai had already been inside of her. Maybe it was similar to that time on the couch...?]

Who said I wasn't going to? That's half the fun.

[When she starts getting into position, Gai will hold as still as possible to make this easier for her. A part of him wants to offer to help, yet at the same time he's getting the sense that this is something she wants to be able to do for herself, so he'll just stay quiet for the time being unless she asks for some assistance.]

[It should be very similar to the couch. After all, the only difference, really, was that Gai was laying flat on his back instead of sitting up. She seems to recall that this position would take more strength from her, so it was probably for the best that they were both already a little worked up.]

[Her maneuvering is a little awkward, but she finally, gently, gets Gai's length in the right position. Then she's sinking, slowly, hoping that she's got it right.]

September 26th - The Marathon

[Gai waits until she starts lowering herself to bring his hands up to rest on her waist and assist her in the process, helping to hold her steady while she does so. It's hard, though, when he feels her around him and he has to take a deep breath in order to keep from doing what his body wants and just thrusting upwards to get more of that delicious heat.

But this is her pace, not his, so he forces himself to hold still and let her take things as slowly as she wants, even if it feels like torture to him.]

[The support Gai gives her is much appreciated. While things aren't stretching as much as they had before, Elizabeth does feel very nervous about this. No wonder Gai was always asking if he was hurting her--she feels the same way as she sinks down slowly over Gai.]

[At least he doesn't look hurt--Gai actually looks very composed as Elizabeth slides down onto him. Elizabeth takes deep breaths and rests her hands over Gai's. So much pseudo-mechanical engineering during sex...]

You doing all right?

[She doesn't look like she's in pain, no. But she does look hesitant, meaning that Gai's logical assumption is that there's a bit of discomfort there, whether it be from the position itself or from the act of being penetrated again. If she wants to stop for a moment to catch her breath and adjust, he'd be fine with that.]

Mm. [Elizabeth nods. There is a bit of discomfort, but not enough to make her stop to regroup. No, she's sliding very steadily, very decisively, down onto Gai until she's seated very comfortably on his hips.]

[She takes a moment to fix her hair again, bite her lip, shift a little... all to acclimate to the stretch again.]

I remember now. I really liked this angle.

I think I like it too.

[Gai isn't even going to hide the very appreciative look he gives her, his eyes traveling slowly up and down her body as he enjoys the view. He can see everything this way, and he's pretty damn sure he likes it.

Plus the idea of her riding him and really getting into it is hot as hell... something tells him that once she gets the hang of it, she's going to be just as wild as he is.]

[And she enjoys that look and plays it up just a little. Shoulders back just a bit, another attempt to tame her hair, trailing her hands just down her neck...]

[No movement on her hips just yet though. She needs a minute, of course, but she's also wondering how much appreciation she can get out of Gai.]

[Quite a bit, if his current expression is any indication. The shift of her shoulders puts her breasts on display quite nicely; his gaze zeroes in on them with evident admiration.

... and a bit more than just that. If anything, he looks like he really wants to reach out and touch them.]

[Gai's obvious interest makes Elizabeth grin and lean forward slightly.]

[But he's already reaching out to give one a light squeeze with one hand. He really likes them, what can he say?]

[If anything, Elizabeth leans into the squeeze and gives a pleased hum. Obvious or not, it's nice to be touched while she's trying to relax her way onto Gai.]

What's that saying? 'My eyes are up here'? I think it was pretty obvious.

Now why would I be looking at your eyes at a time like this?

[To emphasize that, he gives another squeeze, sliding his hand down enough to run his thumb over her nipple.]

Something tells me you'd be disappointed if I got distracted.

[The brush of Gai's thumb earns him another pleased hum and a tiny rock of her hips. Gai likes her breasts, she likes it when he touches them, win-win.]

I think it's very arousing when you look right at me while we make love. [She smiles and, to emphasize the point, tries to catch his eyes with her own.] I love your eyes, and I love the way you look at me.

[This time Gai does lift his eyes to meet her gaze and holds it, his eyes almost luminescent in the pale light of the room. He can't argue with her there-- it's intimate in a way that mere touch can't possibly hope to be.]

Like this, you mean?

[Even when his expression is gentle, he can't hide the intensity of his eyes. Many people found them unnerving for exactly that reason; he'd heard phrases like "It looks like he's looking straight into your soul" bandied around before when his men thought he wasn't listening. And, in a way, he was, if the person in question possessed a Void. Here, though, his eyes are just normal, albeit vivid, ones.]

You're one of the few people who has ever said they liked it when I looked them in the eye.

[Elizabeth snorts softly and leans forward, hands resting on either side of Gai's stomach, supporting her.] Clearly I'm the only one who can fly straight into the sun.

When I think about it honestly... [She looks down at his stomach briefly before looking back at him.] It isn't the sex, or having someone to go to parties with, that I like the most. It's the moments when I see you're looking at me. Or when you call me by my name, or when we're sitting together and talking.

I'd tell you to be careful not to get burned, but we already had that discussion a long time ago. I wouldn't want you to change your mind.

[He huffs a soft laugh, which will make her arms bounce a little.]

But I know what you mean. I'm starting to see why married couples refer to each other as "my other half," because that's what it feels like to me. Just having you near me feels right.

It's a little late to change my mind. [She laughs and wiggles her hips a little.]

[Elizabeth's expression sobers though as she listens to Gai. Honestly, she felt the same way. Her life was wonderful, of course, but she felt the most comfortable with Gai. There was nothing to hide from him, nothing to edge around warily, just her and Gai. What would life have been like if they hadn't met one another? What would her life have been like if he hadn't returned?]

[She combats those thoughts with a roll of her hips. They were both there, in Gai's bed, and in love. That was all that mattered. Elizabeth really starts bearing down into slow but forceful rolls.] Being with you like this... I can't imagine letting anyone else this close to my heart. You feel right to me too.

[Gai smirks and wiggles his hips right back, a motion which will undoubtedly produce rather pleasant results for them both. It's the little things like this that Gai loves most-- not the sex itself, but the little moments where they're just teasing each other or playing around and letting all of their walls down in the process. He'd thought things like that would be uncomfortable... but they're not. They feel just as natural as breathing to him.

But before he can think too much on that, Elizabeth is rocking against him with more purpose, and his own hips lift to meet her out of instinct.]

I meant what I said before-- you have every piece of my heart.

And you have every piece of mine. [Romantic words from Gai are probably more effective on Elizabeth than anything else. She picks up the pace a little, bracing herself on Gai's stomach so she can get some leverage and start some honest to goodness sliding. Gai felt good inside of her and she loved that feeling of him filling her. But it just meant so more when they told each other how much they were in love.]
