This is the first birthday I've had outside of my tower at home. I know Eugene had a rave, but what has everyone else done for their birthdays while they've been here? Or, I suppose if you haven't had a birthday here, what did you typically do?

[Elizabeth doesn't take the day off, even though it's her birthday. She's happy being out and about, enjoying the day and being in the village. She goes to the grocery store, pokes around the item shop and clothing shop a little, picks up some of Booker's preferred whiskey at Good Spirits... she's even running errands she really doesn't have to run. And while she loves the library, today she chooses to read for a bit outdoors--because otherwise she'd spend all day inside. It's a good day to be alive, and that's how Elizabeth is viewing it, and she's going to spend it out in the world. For the first time.]

[Gai sets the bag down when Elizabeth comes over so that he can slip one arm around her, pulling her close and pressing a kiss to her hair. As much as he'd like to do more than just that, they do have an audience, and he's not about to push the envelope... even though said audience happens to be the same person who gave her advice on giving blowjobs. (Which he owes Jack thanks for, although that will be saved for another time.)]

[They really are a cute couple, and Jack finds himself grinning a little, strolling up to comfortable conversational range with the continued invitation to keep talking. He can be on his way as soon as they like, but in the moment, he has to admit it's a lot of fun seeing everything come together so well.]

More like we had the same idea and worked out the timing. But yeah, more or less.

Hopefully it's a forgivable conspiracy.

[And he looks over to Jack with a grin that clearly reads both "I owe you one" and "This was a great idea." He's in no hurry to let his co-conspirator escape, not just yet. After all, Jack deserves as much of the credit for all of this as he does.]

Right. I'm going to be angry that you both created Paris for me to spend time in whenever I like. Because with how much I talk about it, how many times I've said I've wanted to go, that would make complete sense. [She rolls her eyes at Gai and takes his hand.]

No, this is... one of the best days of my life so far. [Squeezing Gai's hand isn't doing much to keep her from misting up, but she's trying. There's definitely a sniff or two as she tries to keep from crying again.] I never dreamed anyone would ever do something like this for me.
