[In cases like this, Gai's experience comes in handy, as he's got a pretty good idea of what most people like in a kiss by now. She's an eager student, for sure, which is a plus; while lack of experience is something that can be corrected, there's nothing that can teach attitude or enthusiasm. Judging by how happily she's kissing him back, she's got those in spades.

For now, he just lets her repeat that kiss and grow more comfortable with the overall process. When she gets bold enough to start changing positions, he allows that for a few moments more before pulling away with a little smile.]

Now, you can try using your tongue if you want.

[Surely she's read enough about kissing in those horrid romance novels to have a basic idea of how that part works.]

My tongue... [Yeah, she's read about that. But really, she doesn't know what to do aside from 'insert tongue into other person's mouth'. There has to be some sort of technique to it... You can't even fall off a skyline and brain a man without there being some skill to it.]

Can you... show me?

[Wordlessly Gai nods before leaning in again. He starts off the kiss the same way as before, except that after a moment he opens his mouth, gently signaling to her that she should do the same by brushing the tip of his tongue over her lips.

Inwardly, he can't help but be amused by the fact that she thought he would find this boring. So far it's been anything but, and they're only just getting started.]

[And Elizabeth readily opens her mouth, just a little, and hesitantly slips her tongue out to meet Gai's. Was that... how it worked...?]

[Exactly how it works, and Gai will let her know this by responding in kind, just very slowly and gently at first to allow her to get used to this. The last thing he wants is to startle her or gross her out and end this little lesson. They'll take this at her pace, not his, so it's up to her when she wants to make the next move.]

[Elizabeth slides her tongue against Gai's, going slow as well. She isn't exactly sure what this is supposed to do, but it is intimate. Being this close to Gai is, admittedly, a little thrilling.]

[She shifts a little closer in Gai's lap and comes back at a different angle. This time she pushes her tongue a little more firmly into Gai's mouth, and lets her hands rest against his chest. She's picking up the pace a little bit, becoming a little less tentative.]

[So much for his fears of her not liking this aspect of kissing. She's becoming downright bold now, and while he suspects some of that is due to the alcohol's influence, he's pretty sure that the rest is all her. So he lets her take the lead, responding to whatever she does to confirm that she's doing it right.

The new, closer position makes it easier for him to slide his arm around her waist to secure her against him while they kiss. Now it's his turn to pull away for a moment to breathe before diving right back in, employing more tongue now that he's certain she's okay with it.]

[Gai's renewed assault has Elizabeth making surprised, delighted noises into his mouth while she tries to match Gai's movements. It's getting easier though, and Elizabeth is trying to introduce some new things. Like putting her hand on the back of Gai's neck, and catching his top lip between hers.]

[The low, pleased growl Gai makes when she captures his lip should be proof enough that he's enjoying this just as much as she is. But he's not planning on letting her get the upper hand, not yet-- in retaliation, he pulls back just enough to nip gently at her lower lip, not enough to hurt but enough that she'll definitely feel it.

Oh, what is she doing to him... the dim awareness in the back of his mind that they shouldn't let this get out of hand is being drowned out by the realization of just how GOOD all of this feels.]

[Well that's a new sound... Elizabeth actually opens her eyes and raises her eyebrows slightly before Gai retaliates. She thought it was a good sound, yes, but she had to make sure.]

[Her eyes snap shut again and she gasps softly. She likes Gai putting his moves on her, it's exciting especially now that she feels like her training wheels are off. Elizabeth is feeling good too, but the thought of it going somewhere out of hand doesn't occur to her. She's not thinking ahead, she's so fully in the moment it's impossible for her to think ahead.]

[She's getting grabby too. She doesn't know why, but it feels right to try to pull Gai closer to her. Her hands are fully on Gai's jaw now, exploring the shape and how it's moving as they kiss.]

[Gai takes Elizabeth's wandering hands as permission to let his own start to roam as well. Just in G-rated areas for the time being, but if she's going to touch him then he wants to touch right back, because he's always been the competitive sort.

One hand strays over just far enough to run lightly up and down her spine in a gentle stroking motion. The other... well, okay, this one isn't quite G-rated, though to his credit he just settles it slightly below the small of her back and doesn't make a move to do anything more than that. He just wants to return the favor, that's all.]

[Being touched by Gai is more soothing than it is a turn-on. The stroking of her back makes Elizabeth slow down and soften a little.]

That feels nice... [She smiles against his cheek and strokes his neck to mimic Gai's attention to her back.]

Yeah...

[A little TOO nice on Gai's end, unfortunately for her. To be fair, he is a healthy young man who has a very pretty young woman in his lap, and the two of them HAVE been making out.

She's being distracting enough that he hasn't even noticed this fact himself; instead, he just continues his stroking, arching his neck a little into her petting. This is nice, this is very nice...]

[Oh, so Gai is enjoying the attention to his neck...]

[Elizabeth hasn't really noticed either--maybe too much has been going on with her as well. But now she's got nefarious thoughts running through her mind and she's impaired enough to just run right ahead with them.]

[With Gai leaning into her hand one way, Elizabeth takes a page out of something she read that she didn't laugh at and nibbles and kisses at Gai's neck.]

Elizabeth...

[THAT earns her an outright groan, as quick as he is to try to stop the sound almost the moment that it escapes. Maybe it's the crystals from the virus on the one side of his neck making it extra-sensitive, he doesn't know. All he knows is that WOW this feels amazing, like a current of energy running from where her lips make contact with his skin all the way through the rest of his body.

His body takes over and he's arching his hips up against her before he even realizes what he's doing. If she didn't notice before, well... chances are she will now.]

[Yep, yep she's noticed now.]

[As electrifying as it is to hear her name spoken like that, feeling Gai roll his hips up against her makes Gai's... minor problem immediately apparent. And Elizabeth isn't so uneducated that she doesn't know what that is.]

[She pulls back from Gai's neck, looking rather shocked. This reaction is because of her... isn't it? And, goodness, as much as she likes Gai she's not quite ready to do something to relieve it--so what is she supposed to do?]

[While she panics silently, her face goes very red very quickly.]

I'm-- I'm sorry, I didn't mean to, ah, I should have been more... careful...?

[Well, on the plus side, this certainly served as a way to put an end to things before the two of them got carried away. On the minus side... on the minus side is the fact this even happened in the first place. Gai is quick to try to squirm into a position so that his little problem isn't quite so apparent (and if nothing else, so that it isn't pressing into her HE'S SORRY ELIZABETH, REALLY HE IS), glad at least for the self-control that allows himself to keep his own cheeks from turning equally red.

But oh god, he hopes she doesn't think he's expecting her to do something to take care of it. Little does he know...]

No, it isn't your fault at all. I should've stopped things before they went that far.

[Despite the awkwardness of the situation, he smiles a little.]

Just think of it as a sign that you're doing everything exactly right.

But it was nice. I thought it was very nice. But... [Elizabeth slides off of Gai's lap completely, face still red, eyes firmly on her skirt.]

It just seems cruel to, ah... [She gestures awkwardly towards Gai's lap.] ...and not do anything about it.

Not that I don't like you! I just... [Elizabeth can't find an adequate phrase that doesn't say, in her opinion, 'I don't like you enough to go that far'.] I really like you. It isn't that I don't like you. Does that make sense?

[But Gai just shakes his head with a soft smile, then leans over to plant a kiss on her forehead and show that he understands what she's trying to say.]

I meant what I said earlier-- only as much as you're comfortable with. Don't feel like you're responsible for this. I'm the one who let my hormones get the better of me here.

[Elizabeth frowns softly, closing her eyes briefly when Gai kisses her forehead.]

But you can't really control it, right?

To a degree, I can. I can focus my mind on other things. I was just having trouble focusing it on anything other than you.

[Which... is the truth. He was enjoying what they were doing and the simple sensation of being close to her like that.]

[She tries to maintain an apologetic look, but after a moment a smile breaks through. It's a compliment, obviously. And while it probably means that a lot of their close-time was going to go like this, it was still nice to know that Gai couldn't think about something else when they were kissing.]

So I was doing everything right?

You were perfect.

[So much so, in fact, that he's having a hard time wrenching his mind away from thoughts of things a lot more intense than just kissing, which isn't doing anything to help his issue here.

Okay. Okay. Just... think of incredibly unsexy things like grocery shopping, Gai.]

[Elizabeth grins broadly, beyond excited that she managed to kiss Gai properly. While she has complete confidence in her ability to talk for hours with Gai, this was the one thing she was concerned about given Gai was experienced. He'd probably had dozens of girlfriends before now, he was so handsome.]

[She resettles herself on Gai's shoulder, playing with the ends of his hair and brushing them experimentally against her lips. So she's still a little drunk, sue her.]

You were perfect too.

[It's a good thing that he's trying to focus on groceries on other such mundane matters right now; he'd been about to excuse himself to go take care of business when Elizabeth curls up next to him and begins playing with his hair. She seems so happy and is so adorably occupied with... whatever it is that she's doing that he can't bear to shift her off so he can stand up.

Looks like it'll have to be good old-fashioned mind power for now.]

You know, you can always tell me if there's something you'd like to try too. I don't want this to be all about me teaching you. It's a lot more fun if we both try new things together.
