[Being touched by Gai is more soothing than it is a turn-on. The stroking of her back makes Elizabeth slow down and soften a little.]

That feels nice... [She smiles against his cheek and strokes his neck to mimic Gai's attention to her back.]

[A little TOO nice on Gai's end, unfortunately for her. To be fair, he is a healthy young man who has a very pretty young woman in his lap, and the two of them HAVE been making out.

She's being distracting enough that he hasn't even noticed this fact himself; instead, he just continues his stroking, arching his neck a little into her petting. This is nice, this is very nice...]

[Oh, so Gai is enjoying the attention to his neck...]

[Elizabeth hasn't really noticed either--maybe too much has been going on with her as well. But now she's got nefarious thoughts running through her mind and she's impaired enough to just run right ahead with them.]

[With Gai leaning into her hand one way, Elizabeth takes a page out of something she read that she didn't laugh at and nibbles and kisses at Gai's neck.]

Elizabeth...

[THAT earns her an outright groan, as quick as he is to try to stop the sound almost the moment that it escapes. Maybe it's the crystals from the virus on the one side of his neck making it extra-sensitive, he doesn't know. All he knows is that WOW this feels amazing, like a current of energy running from where her lips make contact with his skin all the way through the rest of his body.

His body takes over and he's arching his hips up against her before he even realizes what he's doing. If she didn't notice before, well... chances are she will now.]

[Yep, yep she's noticed now.]

[As electrifying as it is to hear her name spoken like that, feeling Gai roll his hips up against her makes Gai's... minor problem immediately apparent. And Elizabeth isn't so uneducated that she doesn't know what that is.]

[She pulls back from Gai's neck, looking rather shocked. This reaction is because of her... isn't it? And, goodness, as much as she likes Gai she's not quite ready to do something to relieve it--so what is she supposed to do?]

[While she panics silently, her face goes very red very quickly.]

I'm-- I'm sorry, I didn't mean to, ah, I should have been more... careful...?

[Well, on the plus side, this certainly served as a way to put an end to things before the two of them got carried away. On the minus side... on the minus side is the fact this even happened in the first place. Gai is quick to try to squirm into a position so that his little problem isn't quite so apparent (and if nothing else, so that it isn't pressing into her HE'S SORRY ELIZABETH, REALLY HE IS), glad at least for the self-control that allows himself to keep his own cheeks from turning equally red.

But oh god, he hopes she doesn't think he's expecting her to do something to take care of it. Little does he know...]

No, it isn't your fault at all. I should've stopped things before they went that far.

[Despite the awkwardness of the situation, he smiles a little.]

Just think of it as a sign that you're doing everything exactly right.

But it was nice. I thought it was very nice. But... [Elizabeth slides off of Gai's lap completely, face still red, eyes firmly on her skirt.]

It just seems cruel to, ah... [She gestures awkwardly towards Gai's lap.] ...and not do anything about it.

Not that I don't like you! I just... [Elizabeth can't find an adequate phrase that doesn't say, in her opinion, 'I don't like you enough to go that far'.] I really like you. It isn't that I don't like you. Does that make sense?

[But Gai just shakes his head with a soft smile, then leans over to plant a kiss on her forehead and show that he understands what she's trying to say.]

I meant what I said earlier-- only as much as you're comfortable with. Don't feel like you're responsible for this. I'm the one who let my hormones get the better of me here.

[Elizabeth frowns softly, closing her eyes briefly when Gai kisses her forehead.]

But you can't really control it, right?

To a degree, I can. I can focus my mind on other things. I was just having trouble focusing it on anything other than you.

[Which... is the truth. He was enjoying what they were doing and the simple sensation of being close to her like that.]

[She tries to maintain an apologetic look, but after a moment a smile breaks through. It's a compliment, obviously. And while it probably means that a lot of their close-time was going to go like this, it was still nice to know that Gai couldn't think about something else when they were kissing.]

So I was doing everything right?

You were perfect.

[So much so, in fact, that he's having a hard time wrenching his mind away from thoughts of things a lot more intense than just kissing, which isn't doing anything to help his issue here.

Okay. Okay. Just... think of incredibly unsexy things like grocery shopping, Gai.]

[Elizabeth grins broadly, beyond excited that she managed to kiss Gai properly. While she has complete confidence in her ability to talk for hours with Gai, this was the one thing she was concerned about given Gai was experienced. He'd probably had dozens of girlfriends before now, he was so handsome.]

[She resettles herself on Gai's shoulder, playing with the ends of his hair and brushing them experimentally against her lips. So she's still a little drunk, sue her.]

You were perfect too.

[It's a good thing that he's trying to focus on groceries on other such mundane matters right now; he'd been about to excuse himself to go take care of business when Elizabeth curls up next to him and begins playing with his hair. She seems so happy and is so adorably occupied with... whatever it is that she's doing that he can't bear to shift her off so he can stand up.

Looks like it'll have to be good old-fashioned mind power for now.]

You know, you can always tell me if there's something you'd like to try too. I don't want this to be all about me teaching you. It's a lot more fun if we both try new things together.

Mm, of course I'll let you know. [She smiles up at Gai, looking very content.] But I think maybe we've hit our limit tonight...? [She's already been the source of an unwanted erection, she's not sure if she wants to go for two tonight.]

[Now it's his turn to smile and slip an arm around her to pull her closer against his side. For once, he's completely content with an evening ending in nothing beyond cuddling, something that comes as a bit of a surprise to him.]

Sounds like a plan to me. But for now, I'm not sure I feel like getting up.

[If Gai hadn't just wrapped his arm around her, Elizabeth might have thought that his inability to get up had something to do with The Problem. But apparently he just wanted to stay on the couch with her. Elizabeth wraps her other arm around Gai and rests her cheek against his shoulder.]

I don't think I'm going to move either.

You're warm enough?

[If she's cold, he could force himself away from the couch long enough to get a blanket, but that would be about the only reason he'd be willing to get up right about now. He's feeling quite comfortable, enough so that when she cuddles up against him, he wraps his other arm around her to enclose her fully in an embrace.]

Mm. [She nods, blissfully unaware of what Gai's thinking. It takes a moment, but she realizes she's falling asleep in Gai's arms.]

I'm falling asleep here... [Elizabeth chuckles quietly, stroking Gai's shoulder with her thumb.] Should I move off of you...?

I think I'd prefer it if you stayed right where you are.

[It's nice and warm and comfortable, and the sense of closeness is both new and welcomed at the same time. He's more than okay with it as long as she is.]

[The invitation is what Elizabeth was hoping for. Not because she's suddenly exhausted from all the activity, but because she also is enjoying that sense of comfort and closeness. And warmth. It's very warm.]

...so you're not going to walk me home tonight. [She grins into Gai's shoulder.]

[Two beers is enough that Gai is starting to feel a bit on the tired side himself. It has been something of an exciting night, even he can't deny that much. Exciting, and more fun than he's had in... well, a long time, certainly.]

Mm. Looks like you'll have to take a raincheck for tomorrow morning.

How about tomorrow afternoon? [She's intentionally pushing her luck here, still grinning away into Gai's shoulder as she prepares to fall asleep on him.] I don't just stay this beautiful automatically, you know.

[Oho. He has no objections to that whatsoever-- if she wants a shower, he's got more than enough extra towels and such for that. But he's not going to push his own luck by making a joke about offering to wash her back for her, so instead he just tightens his arms around her.]

Afternoon it is, if you think you're brave enough to face my cooking. I wouldn't consider that to be one of my strong suits.

I'm very brave. [She stretches up a little to put a kiss on the underside of Gai's jaw.] And I want to know it all. The strong and the weak.
