Has anyone seen Booker DeWitt? Tall, sandy hair, typically frowning, has 'AD' on his hand? He's at Good Spirits usually, but I haven't seen him there in the past few days...

[She's been looking, too. Ever since that strange hole in everyone's memory, the destroyed wall in her bedroom, and Booker doing a disappearing act, she's felt very uneasy about his being missing. But all of his things were still in the house, so he couldn't have gone far...]

If anyone sees him, would you let him know that I'm-- that Elizabeth is waiting for him to come home?

[In the mean time, there's a giant hole in her bedroom wall, and her bedroom is, of course, a disaster area. It's a little unnerving, truth be told, to not remember where so much damage came from, but she's trying to focus on Booker instead of her own memory. She's trying to distract herself with cleaning--moving chunks of wall out onto the grass outside, shaking out her bedding, attempting to put a curtain over the giant hole until it gets fixed...]

No problem. He's supposed to be teaching me to use a gun, so if he's gone missing, that's a problem.

Yes. [She answers that very quickly, before she could even consider what would happen to her if his things were gone.] Yes... his room looks like he got up and left it the way he always does, laundry, his weapons-- it's all here.

Then he's still here.

Probably got nabbed by the droids or something, if he hasn't been in contact when he should be.

[She thinks for a moment, then laughs a little.] Somehow I can't see Booker getting 'quietly' nabbed by droids.

...He's missing?

[Selphie doesn't actually know many of Elizabeth's friends with the exception of Gai but she can definitely keep an eye out for the guy.]

Is it safe to assume that he sticks out like a sore thumb then?

Did he go missing when everyone lost their memory?

Yes, he is. But all of his things are still here so he can't have gone far...

[Still, she sounds nervous.]

[Elizabeth chuckles.] Depends on the situation. Sometimes he can look as average as can be, and other times he's like a bull in a china shop.

I think so. One of the walls in my bedroom is completely torn out, and I really don't remember that happening. I'm... I'm afraid that the wall and his disappearing are linked.

[Booker's mysterious disappearance was all the reason Gai needed to move into the house temporarily while he was gone. It was no secret just how distressed Elizabeth was by this turn of events, made even more disconcerting by the fact that none of them had any memories of what had gone on over the weekend, much less what had destroyed the wall like that. It was hard NOT to feel uneasy over something like that; Gai didn't blame her one bit.

So he may be hovering a little more protectively than usual, try though he might to seem unobtrusive about it. In his eyes, it's his responsibility to look after her in Booker's absence. That much is the very least he can do for his soon-to-be father-in-law.

He's not surprised to find her in her bedroom again when he goes looking. It would probably be best for her not to spend too much time in there dwelling on it, though...]

You want something to eat?

[Elizabeth is standing on her bed, trying to hang a sheet with stars on it over the hole. It doesn't quite fit over all of the hole, but she's trying.]

[She turns around when Gai comes into the room and smiles briefly.] I suppose that's something I should do soon.

There should be enough leftovers in the fridge for lunch. I can't guarantee the same for Robert and Rosalind, but they can fend for themselves whenever they finally remember to eat.

[Normally he'd be right up there offering to help, but for some reason he's feeling more achy and sore than usual. For all he knows, it has something to do with Booker being missing. It's the most logical explanation.]

Let's leave the leftovers for them-- they're working. [Elizabeth turns around and steps down off the bed to look at the sheet. There's still a good six inches that isn't covered, the hole is so big.]

...I probably should get out of the house for a little bit. This hole is driving me crazy.

Chee- Forgetting things is bad enough, but not people have gone missing for it? [ Jackasses. He's not sure if it's better for worse that Shiemi went missing when he could actually remember it . He feels frustrated again ] I haven't seen 'em. But I'll tell you if I do.

Sometimes people go to the beach. Or camp out in the woods?

I'm sorry. I haven't seen anyone who looks like that. But... I'm gonna keep my eyes open, okay, Elizabeth? [...She seems like her old self again.]

Might have happened somewhere else, though. Might not've had his journal on him. I've seen that happen.

He would have told me he was going.

[...no, he probably wouldn't have, if something was wrong. The uneasy silence that follows suggests Elizabeth is reconsidering the statement. She would like to think that he would have told her.]

I can't imagine Booker camping, but maybe I'll check the beach...

Oh... [Yes, she supposes that's true...] But I figured he would, I don't know, fight back. And Booker fighting isn't the quietest thing in the world.

Yeah, that's how I met him. Not really the quiet type. But... I guess you never know what the droids can pull.
