I think that was, maybe, the most haphazard experiment I've been here during. I can't even make a speculation at what the purpose of it was aside from confuse us all.
But I suppose I did meet quite a few people, so perhaps inadvertently its purpose was to remind me of that time when I thought life was much simpler. [That time when she thought no one would ever hurt her, and everything in life was new and beautiful.] And I suppose it gave me my hair back. It's as long as it was before I cut it, now. It's nice, I suppose, but does anyone here give haircuts...?

How are you feeling? I only grazed you with the lamp, didn't I...? [UNSURE TONE IS UNSURE...]

[It's an answer without really being an answer, and he is content to leave it at that unless she decides to press. (He's hoping she won't.)]

I was just making a reference that apparently doesn't exist where you're from. It's no conspiracy, I promise.

[Elizabeth buttons up her blouse, closes her bag and is out the window in a matter of minutes. She is going to win this one, Gai has to get groceries for crying out loud.]
[Action]
... this is still going to be the fastest grocery run he's ever made, and Elizabeth might catch him almost running down the hall to his apartment door, bags in hand...]
[Action]
[Action]
Okay. Maybe more than a little. His imagination is already running at full steam, supplying him with images of what he might find when he opens the door. Her stretched out on the couch like that? He approves.]
Guess this is the part where I say I'm ready for my punishment game.
[Action]
Punishment, punishment... Hmm...
[She thinks about it, because she hadn't really planned anything. But if Gai was asking for it, far be it from her to disappoint. After a moment, she thinks of something and, grinning, goes into Gai's bedroom where she's already put her bags.]
[Elizabeth comes back out with one of her corsets, and once his hands are free she tosses it to him.]
Catch!
[Action]
... and then he realizes what he's holding in his hands. NOOO, HIS MORTAL ENEMY. Now that is just cruel and uncalled-for. To his credit, though, he'll hold that corset and try not to scowl too much at it or attempt to shred it with his bare hands.]
I said punishment, not cruel and unusual punishment.
[Action]
But I have to ask. If you're holding it, what do you think I'm wearing now?
[Action]
Oh.
That... is a very nice revelation indeed, and suddenly Gai doesn't hate that monstrosity in his hands so much anymore.]
So you won't mind if I throw this into a corner for the rest of the time you're here.
[Action]
[Namely, she intends to play Keep Away with Gai, just for a little bit. So she keeps herself at a good four-foot distance, just grinning away.]
[Action]
[Naturally, Gai takes a couple of steps towards her, because that little tidbit of information about the corset (or more precisely, the lack thereof) makes him eager to see if she is in fact telling the truth about that.
Also naturally, the fact that she moved towards the couch made his brain go straight into the gutter... just ignoring that it had already been halfway there even before that.]
[Action]
[When Gai advances, Elizabeth gives him a coy grin and steps back.]
[Action]
Moving forward again, the grin on his face edging into something more mischievous.]
[Action]
[But she also thinks that she and Gai need a little play. Elizabeth moves back with Gai moving forward, looking back as she approaches the couch. And when she gets close enough to it, she steps up onto it.]
[Action]
Still, he approaches the couch with an almost predatory edge to his smile now. Another thing he's learned is that she likes it when he's playful right back. He may not know what to expect from her right now, but he does know that he can have some fun with whatever it is.]
