I think that was, maybe, the most haphazard experiment I've been here during. I can't even make a speculation at what the purpose of it was aside from confuse us all.
But I suppose I did meet quite a few people, so perhaps inadvertently its purpose was to remind me of that time when I thought life was much simpler. [That time when she thought no one would ever hurt her, and everything in life was new and beautiful.] And I suppose it gave me my hair back. It's as long as it was before I cut it, now. It's nice, I suppose, but does anyone here give haircuts...?

How are you feeling? I only grazed you with the lamp, didn't I...? [UNSURE TONE IS UNSURE...]

[The Malnosso being the Malnosso, they hadn't allowed him the kindness of being freed from the Apocalypse Virus once he'd returned to Luceti. But even though they'd essentially performed a physical "reset" on him when he arrived, it also meant that he's no longer dealing with the fatigue from the mission, so compared to that? He feels pretty damn fantastic.
And it's not hard at all for him to pick up on her implication there.]
Want to come over?
[Private] [1/2]
[Private] [2/2]
Is it alright if I bring a few things?
[Like a nightgown. And a change of clothes. Because she wants to spend the entire day with Gai if he'll let her.]
[Private]
[He'd meant what he said about neither one of them leaving the apartment for a long time.]
[Private]
[As she's recording all of this, she's pulling things together and putting them in one of her larger shopping bags. The prospect of the intimacy is wonderful, but Elizabeth is hurrying because she can't wait to spend the day--the entire day--with Gai.]
[Private]
[He doesn't realize until he's already said it that she probably won't get the joke... which may be just as well, because he's not sure that he really wants to have to explain that, especially not after a certain conversation that occurred during that experiment.]
[Private]
[Private]
[It's an answer without really being an answer, and he is content to leave it at that unless she decides to press. (He's hoping she won't.)]

I was just making a reference that apparently doesn't exist where you're from. It's no conspiracy, I promise.

[Elizabeth buttons up her blouse, closes her bag and is out the window in a matter of minutes. She is going to win this one, Gai has to get groceries for crying out loud.]
[Action]
... this is still going to be the fastest grocery run he's ever made, and Elizabeth might catch him almost running down the hall to his apartment door, bags in hand...]
[Action]
[Action]
Okay. Maybe more than a little. His imagination is already running at full steam, supplying him with images of what he might find when he opens the door. Her stretched out on the couch like that? He approves.]
Guess this is the part where I say I'm ready for my punishment game.
[Action]
Punishment, punishment... Hmm...
[She thinks about it, because she hadn't really planned anything. But if Gai was asking for it, far be it from her to disappoint. After a moment, she thinks of something and, grinning, goes into Gai's bedroom where she's already put her bags.]
[Elizabeth comes back out with one of her corsets, and once his hands are free she tosses it to him.]
Catch!
[Action]
... and then he realizes what he's holding in his hands. NOOO, HIS MORTAL ENEMY. Now that is just cruel and uncalled-for. To his credit, though, he'll hold that corset and try not to scowl too much at it or attempt to shred it with his bare hands.]
I said punishment, not cruel and unusual punishment.
[Action]
But I have to ask. If you're holding it, what do you think I'm wearing now?
